# TuneStem > TuneStem is an independent browser-based AI vocal remover that separates authorized music into vocals and instrumental tracks. Users can upload MP3 or WAV audio, or start from a public Suno song URL, then preview and download the separated tracks. TuneStem produces two outputs: vocals and instrumental. It does not provide separate drums, bass, guitar, or piano stems. Local uploads support MP3 and WAV files up to 100 MiB; FLAC must be decoded to WAV before uploading. Separation quality depends on the source mix, and vocals, harmonies, reverb, or other artifacts can remain. Anonymous access depends on the available daily allowance returned by the service. Signed-in vocal separation currently requires 5 AI credits per task. Signed-in users can receive 5 daily credits on their first eligible visit of the business day, subject to server-side eligibility and deduplication. These are not promises of unlimited free processing. Users must own or have permission to process the audio. Separation does not grant copyright, ownership, licensing, or commercial-use rights. TuneStem is not affiliated with or endorsed by Suno. Public guides are informational; account data, task pages, source files, and generated audio are not public reference material. ## Tools - [TuneStem](https://tunestem.com/): Product overview and entry points for vocal and instrumental separation. - [AI Vocal Remover](https://tunestem.com/vocal-remover): Upload an MP3 or WAV file to separate vocals and instrumental audio; also supports the public Suno URL workflow. - [Suno Vocal Remover](https://tunestem.com/suno-vocal-remover): Start from a public Suno song URL or an authorized downloaded audio file. ## Guides - [TuneStem Blog](https://tunestem.com/blog): Practical guides for vocal removal, source quality, karaoke, and remix workflows. - [How to Remove Vocals from a Song Online: Keep the Instrumental](https://tunestem.com/blog/vocal-separation-basics): Upload, separate, preview the instrumental, and download it for authorized use. - [How to Download Vocal and Instrumental Stems from Suno](https://tunestem.com/blog/remove-vocals-from-suno-song): Compare Suno's own tools with TuneStem's public-link and file-upload inputs. - [How to Isolate Vocals from a Song for a Remix](https://tunestem.com/blog/how-to-isolate-vocals-from-a-song): Extract a vocal, check artifacts, and prepare it for a remix in a DAW. - [How to Make a Karaoke Backing Track from a Song](https://tunestem.com/blog/how-to-make-a-karaoke-track): Prepare and check an instrumental for singing practice. - [Why Are Vocals Still Audible After Vocal Removal?](https://tunestem.com/blog/why-vocals-remain-after-vocal-removal): Understand residual vocals, harmonies, and reverb, and assess whether a cleaner source could help. - [Vocal Remover vs. Stem Splitter: Which Do You Need?](https://tunestem.com/blog/vocal-remover-vs-stem-splitter): Distinguish two-output vocal separation from tools that create individual instrument stems. - [MP3 vs. WAV for Vocal Removal: Which File Should You Use?](https://tunestem.com/blog/mp3-vs-wav-vocal-removal): Choose a source format and understand why conversion cannot restore information lost in an MP3. ## Support and policies - [Contact TuneStem](https://tunestem.com/contact): Submit a support message with a reply email and description.
